- Exterior : garden furnitures, window & door frames, gates,...
- Interior: paneling, door, window frames,...
- Horizontal & Vertical
- Direct on prepared woods
- Boats - all applications above waterline
RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE Application
- Wood must first be treated with DEKS OLJE D1, OWATROL OIL, or XYLKOTE (for specific applications)
- Wood must be clean, dry and free of all contamination
- Do not apply DEKS OLJE D.2 if wet weather expected
- DEKS OLJE D.2 is very slippery and is not suitable for use in areas where it will be walked on (i.e. decks) - use DEKS OLJE D.1 only for these areas.
- Do not Thin.
Application
- Apply 6 coats of DEKS OLJE D.2
- Allow minimum 12 hours drying between coats
- No sanding between coats
- Allow to dry minimum 3-4 days before putting back into service
- Note: clean any dripping or spots of DEKS OLJE D.2 from surface before the product dries. Once dry, spots will form and will be very hard to eliminate. It is therefore imperative to eliminate any spots right after the application.
