Does Transyl contain acid, alkaline or silicone products?

No.

Is Transyl corrosive?

No, on the contrary, it provides temporary protection by leaving a light, greasy film on the surface after penetration.

Can Transyl replace a regular lubricant (recommended by the manufacturer, for instance)?

No, but it can be used from time to time to clean and therefore optimise its penetration and performance.

Does Transyl modify the properties of metal?

No, it doesn't alter or modify any of their physical characteristics. It doesn't act on "parasitic" bodies (rust, carbon deposits, baked-on grease, gumming, etc.).
