PROPERTIES
Durably protects and decorates slippery wooden surfaces.
Prevents greying.
Contains anti-slip micronized polypropylene wax microbeads (particle size: 100 microns).
Easy application.
WHERE TO USE
- Exterior wood.
- Directly to prepared wood.
- Horizontal surfaces.
- Treated or untreated softwoods, dense and exotic wood.
- Brushed, planed finish.
Application
- Don't dilute. Mix the product well before and during use (for 2 to 3 minutes with an appropriate helical mixer).
- Apply one coat of Antigliss to the prepared surface along the entire length of the board in the direction of the grain.
- Allow to dry for a minimum of 6 hours (20°C at 65 % RH), then apply a second coat. Total drying time 24 hours. The ambient temperature and the relative humidity can affect the drying time. If spraying, it is always best to smooth the surface immediately to improve product penetration and ensure an even appearance.
- Surface ready to use:
- Between 24 hours and 5 days for light traffic.
- More than 5 days for normal traffic.
our Advice
- Before starting, test the chosen colour on a small patch (wait until dry).
- Protect anything that doesn't need treating, including plants.
- Apply between 5℃ and 30℃. Don't apply in full sunlight or on very hot wood.
- The wood's humidity mustn't be higher than 18 %. Comply with the standards and building code in force.
- Don't apply if rain is expected within 24 hours.
- Always work the entire length of a board or up to a natural break.
- If applied with a sprayer, smooth with a brush during application.
