PROPERTIES
XYLKOTE protects
- Penetrates the wood and protects it from moisture ingress.
- Stabilises the bare untreated wood.
- Minimises movement of the wood - reduces the risk of distortion.
- Protects against mold and fungi
- Excellent penetration.
XYLKOTE decorates
- Accentuates the natural wood grain and colour, especially soft woods (Fir, Pine, Spruce, Larch ,...).
- Clear matt finish
- A clear satin finish can be achieved by applying an additional application 24 hours after saturating the wood.
- Can be tinted with universal colourants (5-10g per litre) or with liquid waxes (US).
XYLKOTE saves time
- Does not blacken over time.
- Easy clean - soap and water.
- Easy maintenance - no sanding or stripping.
- Can be patch repaired.
