PROPERTIES
OLÉOFLOOR TRADITION is a highly nourishing and durable oil that is specially designed for the impregnation of parquet flooring and wooden staircases subject to heavy use.
Functions
- Parquet flooring or wooden staircases.
- Particularly floors subject to very heavy use.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- OLÉOFLOOR TRADITION should be applied to dry, clean, sound surfaces prepared according to the regulations in force. If necessary, depending on the type of wood, sand the wood beforehand with 100 to 120 grit.
RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE Application
- Large surfaces must be divided up into 20 to 50 m2 surfaces that can be treated in a period of 20 minutes.
- These should be reduced in the case of high temperatures or dry climates.
Application
- Apply OLÉOFLOOR TRADITION generously and evenly in the direction of and across the grain, leave for 20 minutes and then rub with an impregnated beige pad, then remove any excess.
- After 20 minutes, rub with a beige pad until the wood is saturated to spread the OLÉOFLOOR TRADITION evenly. Add a bit more if necessary.
- After 3 to 16 hours, perform a final polish with a FP/406W white pad or a BNN/406 active fibre pad.
Recommendations after Application
- White-Spirit.
- Pads and cloths soaked in oil can spontaneously catch fire. In order to avoid accidents, keep them outdoors in a closed, waterproof, metal container.
Maintenance
- For normal maintenance, use a damp floorcloth with a SOAPCLEAN solution.
- Heavily used areas should be retreated with OLÉOFLOOR TRADITION diluted 50% with white spirit (1 dose of OLÉOFLOOR TRADITION / 1 dose of White-Spirit).
