Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt, dust, grease and any other surface contamination.
Clean and remove any stains. Any stains not removed and coated with PROTECTIONALL® will be permanently fixed.
Painted surfaces must be in good condition.
Sand with 80 or 120 grit abrasive.
Remove all sanding dust.
Wipe over with a Tack Cloth or cloth soaked in Methylated Spirits (Denatured Alcohol) to remove any remaining sanding residue.
Clean painted surfaces with SOAPCLEAN or similar product, rinse and allow to dry.
Matt Finish: Abrade surface with fine grade (120 grit) sandpaper. Dust off.
Satin Finish: PROTECTIONALL® may only be applied to a poor-quality satin paint or a satin paint in very poor condition. Abrade surface with fine grade (120 grit) sandpaper. Dust off.
Gloss or Washable Finish: DO NOT use PROTECTIONALL®.
Clean surfaces with SOAPCLEAN or similar product, rinse and allow to dry completely.
Check moisture content with a suitable moisture metre.
New Cement and Concrete: Allow to dry out a minimum of 3 months.
All new or unfinished cement and concrete should be suitably prepared and the alkalinity neutralised.
Ensure surface is completely dry.

Note: Polished or Power Floated concrete surfaces (floors, worktops etc.) should be Diamond Ground, Shot Blasted or Acid Etched prior to applying PROTECTIONALL®.
Very Porous Surfaces:
Exposed Surfaces e.g. Worktops, Table Top, Splashback….
Wait a minimum of 48 hours after finishing before replacing any furniture or heavy objects.
Do not cover the treated surface for at least 14 days after application.
